Is there a brony in your family?

My Little Pony, that cute little children's character meant to be for little girls has a young male following. Typically in the 13-30 years old range, these are closet Little Pony fans, known as bronys. I bring all this up because I found out that my nephew who was just newly married last year is a brony.

This all came about when his new wife who loves to knit and crochet, made a cute set of pokeman toys. She gave them all away to relatives who had small children. She posted pictures of them on Facebook and added that her husband just bought her a pattern book for My Little Pony and was anxious for her to start making them right away.

So she made them, and posted pictures of the toy ponies on Facebook. Then came the comments from friends and family wanting this one or that one. That ended when her husband said they were not going to give away or sell the ponies. It now dawned on most of the family that knew about the brony cult that he was a closet brony. 

Just turned off The Agents of SHIELD

I am checking out the new TV shows, like most of you are. I am a BIG fan of Marvel and the movies based on their comics. So with that in mind I tuned into the new TV show, Marvel's, The Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I hate to say it but after only 35 minutes I switched channels. It did not keep my interest and was boring.

I even noticed some of the filming, camera angles were a bit of the old Batman and Robin TV show like. Oh well, I tuned it in but got turned off. 

The Voice and How I met your Mother 2 shows I am not interested in

Will someone please tell me why I am not the least bit interested in The Voice or How I Met Your Mother TV shows. They are the biggest gossip on all the entertainment shows right now, but I couldn't care less about them......if I tried.

The Voice is boring, boring and can I say it again...........BORING. One long f*ing audition with no other variety, just singing.

Then there is How I Met Your Mother, it is just another sitcom, nothing special at all. Why is there such hype about those 2 TV shows tonight.............I have no clue.

The Emmys 2013, why did they broadcast them back to back?

Ok, I just finished watching the Emmy Awards. After the end of the show the commercials came on as usual then the show started all over again. I checked the TV listings and sure enough, CBS had them scheduled back to back or did they? I decided to look at the CBS schedule and no they had other programming scheduled after the Emmys. It was Direct TV that was showing them back to back. So now I know that DirecTV was screwing with the networks schedules.

The Emmy show was ok, nothing special to shout about. Nothing news worthy happened, just a regular awards show. 

Fishburn is fired from CSI

Lawrence Fishburn will never replace the character Gil Grissom on CSI and so the producers have found that out too and they have axed mister Fishburn. I have not watched CSI since Grissom left. It seems that lots of other regular viewers felt the same way since CSI dropped from #1 to #30 on the charts.
