Road rage motorcycle group in New York

Did you happen to see on the news the video about the confrontation of a group of motorcyclists and a SUV?  Here is the video:


Here is my take on what is happening. The people in the SUV are surrounded by at least 100 motorcycles. The drivers of the motorcycles are not obeying the laws of the road. They are taking over the road. They deliberately slow down to the point on one guy getting rear ended.

The driver of the SUV is probably thinking that he is being set up for something, either to be harassed or to make an insurance claim (I've seen that happen in real life). The group of bikers surround him and he panics and drives out of there with one thought - SURVIVE.

The driver was not charged but the news said that the cops confiscated 68 motorcycles and did issue citations. The motorcycle groups have apparently been an on going problem in the area.

Who the hell is Ted Cruz?

I started hearing about this politician just today. He is junior Senator from Texas and he can talk and talk and ................. In fact he is on a marathon filibuster, a filibuster that may end up shooting the Republicans in the foot. But enough of the filibuster, who is this guy? I found some interesting facts and trivia about Ted Cruz, so here we go.

• His full name is Rafael Edward "Ted" Cruz
• He is Hispanic, but doesn't look it
• He was born in Canada
• His father is Cuban
• His mother is American of Irish and Italian descent
• He supports gun rights - remember he is from Texas
• Opposes same sex marriage
• He would rather shut down the government than have Obama care go into affect.

So in the next few days we will hear more about this guy. He will either be a hero to his party or an embarrassment.

Why I support the Affordable Care Act AKA Obama Care

I really wish that those anti health care morons, also known as Republicans, would take the lobbyists that are lurking in their closets with loads of money and just say no. It is no big secret that insurance companies, the medical industry and related interests have the Republicans on their payrolls.I for one want to see Obamacare go into action.

I am one of those working poor people, you know one of the 99% that support the 1% assholes. They can afford decent healthcare. Me, I have to get it through my job and if my job does not offer it or I have to pay half my paycheck as a co-pay, then I am screwed. Yes, I try to stay as healthy as I can but no one can predict tripping over something and breaking an arm or getting cancer. Those 1% assholes can afford anything they want and then have the gall to have us 99% 'ers denied what they have.

Let's face it, it is not about the cost of the Affordable Care Act, it is about denying health care to the multitudes.
